Generally, no. We’re not channeling your work to India or the Philipines or anything like that. That’s an option, and if you’re incredibly cost conscious, maybe it’s for you. It doesn’t work for us, and trust me, we’ve tried. If you’d like to try it, please do. Also, please call us when it needs fixed.

However, we may bring in a contractor from time to time who has a specific skillset we need to complete a project. We keep this above the board and known, though.

I get this question a lot, and it’s fair. Clients are your most valuable asset, and they’re mine too. We’ll sign reasonable NDA’s and Non-competes as long as they don’t hinder our business interests.

But I will say this: I constantly work with firms and marketers that are directly competing with each other. We are only allowed to do that because of the trust we’ve earned by being painfully honest at times. With our business model, if we started stealing clients, we wouldn’t be in business very long. We don’t bite the hands that feed us, and we’ll be happy to provide references that will vouch for both the quality of our work and of our character. Just ask.

Nope. We’ve been doing this long enough that we know what a project takes, the effort involved, and what that costs. If you’d like to bargain hunt, we hope you find a great partner. Again, call us. I might even know someone and can make a recommendation! But our cost, is our cost. We’ll always be fair and reasonable, but we’re not for everyone.

Within reason. Sometimes it involves a rush fee. Sometimes we’re just feeling nice and have some bandwidth. What we won’t do is sacrifice quality for speed… so let’s talk.

Generally, you. We do a lot of work in WordPress, so it’s open source. We do have a couple plugins that are proprietary and may have a license fee, but we’ll be very upfront about that.

As long as it’s good. We don’t want to build sites we can’t be proud of. But generally, yes.

We don’t work in other people’s themes. We’ll occasionally repair one, but we’re not starting in Genesis or Visual Composer or anything like that? Why? We don’t want to inherit bad code, or deliver a code-bloated site. We really believe we’re doing you a disservice. We build from the ground up to your specifications, and to do that and deliver a fast and compliant site, it requires we “get close to the metal” and control the process. So we might help you fix something... but we won’t build in it. Friends don’t let friends use Visual Composer, and we’re all friends here.

I have yet to meet one we can’t, so probably.

Within reason. If you’re looking to build the next “Candy Crush” that’s probably not us. There are people who will do it better. But if you need an app for your business and customers, we can talk. If it’s not for us, we’ll be very transparent, and even help you find a better fit.

We’re not really “white label.” It’s not that we’re unwilling to do it, but it’s 2019. People meet us once, and a simple google search will turn up a LinkedIn profile or this site, and the illusion is shattered. We prefer to just be honest about the situation, communicate to your clients that we’ve established a trust, and that we’re working in their best interest and yours, and go about it that way.

For the right company, sure. Some of our favorite portfolio pieces are for non-agency clients, but we’re kinda picky about it. It’s got to be the right site, for the right people, at the right price. We’re always happy to talk to you about it, and if we’re not right for you, I’ll even make a recommendation for who might be. We don’t want to put you or us in a situation where everyone isn’t doing their best work, or just “follow the money” into a situation that we’re not the right developers for. No one ends up happy.
